Well… I've not fallen off the face of the earth… I'm still alive!
It has been a crazy past few weeks!
Since my last update, I have interviewed, accepted, and worked for two weeks at Price Publications. Price Publications is the publisher for the Wetumpka Herald, Tallassee Tribune, and Eclectic Observer. I am doing the bookkeeping for them.
I am finishing up my last week of class for the summer term and getting my stuff in line for the fall semester.
That is a story in itself!
Term classes move so quickly, I've barely had time to breathe… and I'm only taking ONE graduate course: Strategic Marketing Management. It is not my cup of tea; I did not enjoy the class nor do I feel as if I learned much. I feel pretty good about my final grade, though. I got to learn a lot about one of my favorite shoe companies,. TOMS shoes is a really awesome company; I did TWO research papers for them this summer.
I've not had time to do ANY crafting.
It makes me really super duper sad, but RJ and I got to do some really fun hiking and will be kayaking this upcoming Saturday. Seeing God's creation is humbling! I'm love being outside!
The LORD is pressing on in my life and I love it. I learn new things from Him every day. I'm currently learning how important it is to rely on God's timing and not my humanly timing. I have head knowledge of his infinite wisdom and his power. I'm currently able to live it out and be patient with His timing. He's not finished with me yet, and He's working on something great for me. There is so much for me to be thankful for right now. I'm so grateful for the unconditional love and support from my superhero and fiancé, Ronald David Volnoff, Jr. The support from my family is so amazing. It has been unmoving throughout the trials of these past few years of my life. No one supports like family. They see you through the bad and celebrate with you during the good times. A family like this can only come from God. It is my prayer that RJ and I can reflect the wonderful qualities of our families. I'm thankful that I'm living rent free and enjoying these last few (128) days of my single life with my family.
RJ has had some incredible opportunities to use his amazing God given musical talent lately.
He and some friends have been diligently (sort of) practicing and have really gotten some great songs put together. I love listening to them especially since they make pretty much every song they play their own. Their worship is passionate and you can see it on each face. They truly worship Yahweh with the talents He has given them. God has blessed all of these young men with a great ministry opportunity:
Thank you Jesus for willing young men. They have so much going on that RJ asked me jokingly to make them a schedule, but I think it might be necessary.
The Lord is also taking care of business concerning our housing.
Please continue to pray for us and our journey.
