Nursery Storage Solution {FURNITURE REDO}

I saw this project on pinterest, and totally got inspired. We have this online yard-sale here locally and I was able to snag up a vintage piece of furniture for $10 (the same place I bought my desk). We repainted it with left over paint from the nursery and I covered it with a "place mat" of sorts made out of  fabric scraps from the bedding. We left the original knobs for a more distressed look.

I didn't orignialy plan on distressing this bad mama jama, but mistakes lead to beauty I guess.
I really like the way it turned out.
 I love the spindles on the corners!

This gem will sit next to my rocker in the nursery.
It will be perfect to have next to me while rocking and nursing our baby, and it provides great storage underneath. I bought a great basket to put underneath, but duh... I forgot to take a picture of it.

You are doing such a great job on upcycling that piece, I love the distressed look of it too, and very functional! wtg! waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)
