1. What are your favorite 3 things about fall?

Changing leaves, the cool crisp air, football, and my new growing baby bump!

2. Are you a football fan and if so who is your favorite team?

Tee totally a football fan. My allegiance goes to my alma mater, Troy University. I'm also a Crimson Tide fan!Not a fan of NFL.

3. What is your favorite fall scent?

Hmph. I'm not really sure. Maybe it's one that occurs naturally. You know that "it's def fall" smell outside?? I know... I'm weird.

4. So you have seasonal allergies?

Not pre-pregnancy, but we'll see!

5. Have you started Christmas shopping yet?

Shopping? Yes! Purchasing? No :/

Hoo Are You: 4th of July

Here are my Hoo Are You answers!

1. How did you spend the 4th of July?

FAMILY FAMILY FAMILY!

I had a great time with the in-laws playing with their new baby chicks and just being lazy!!!

It was really amazing. Like warm fuzzy amazing. To just be captivated by the essence of family. It was pretty crazy. It just kinda made me realize that the dishes can wait. The laundry can wait.The vacuuming can wait. When family calls... You go. I didn't get ANYTHING done this weekend.i love that.

2. What was a couple of your favorite things you ate for the 4th of July?

Oh yeah. Def steak and potato salad, thanks to the Popsicle :)

Papaw's Hamburgers

Nom nom nom...

3. Did you watch fireworks?

We had some at our church... The highlight was them falling over and mis-firing.

4. What is your favorite firework?

Those kind that kinda crackle as they fall down?

You know what I'm talkin bout?

5. How hot was it where you were for the 4th?

100s... too hot for this girl.

Another highlight of the weekend

was the fact that my mother in law GAVE [and taught me how to thread] me a

sewing machine.

Yes, she gave it to me. How amazing is that?

I've been praying about whether or not this whole thing was

for me or not.

I didn't have the money to invest in a sewing machine.

I didn't have the money to invest in a whole stock pile of fabrics. So I just didn't know if the Lord was telling me to drop this and quit wasting my time...

I was very confused.

I came home from my MIL's house on Sunday with a

new machine and stack at least 3.5 feet tall of her fabrics.

I got some neat patchwork Granny squares, some placemats, several belt pieces, all kinds of scrap ribbon, some felt. I'm tellin you folks, I racked up.

The Lord blessed me immensely through my mother in law :)

Here are my answers!

1. What is your favorite magazine?

I'm not sure that I really have a favorite magazine. I tend to like crafty/homey magz, but I also pick up a hairstyle magazine every now and again.

2. What color are your eyes?

blueeee

3. Do you go to the dentist on a regular 6 month schedule, or do you put it off?

Before I got married, I went religiously. Now, our insurance is different and I don't want to have to find another dentist.

4. Do you use anything to make your house smell good?

ex: candles, spray,etc...

I burn my scentsy 24/7. I just recently bought some neutra air that I love, and I also like the glade stuff that neutralizes odors {we have a pup that makes stinky smellzz}

heirloom scentsy burner: me want.

5. Do you have any pets?

We have our precious {destructive and stinky} Laila. She's a beagle/pit mix with a ton of energy!

No, but I have a wonderful mas-sues for a husband!

2. When drinking bottled water do you have a preference on which brand you drink?

No preference needed; I think Nestle is in the fridge now :)

3. What is your favorite kind of soup?

Panera's cheesy broccoli!

4. Do you have a preference on which Kleenex brand you use?

Nah... Whatever is on hand!
The husband handed me a paper towel once when I asked him to get me something to blow my nose on. I was disgusted.

5. What is your favorite breakfast food?

The works: eggs, bacon, biscuits, with some OJ and french toast!

...and I wonder why I'm an XL??
